This takes a lot of time and patience. 2. A design proposal is created based on your wishes for the artwork. 3. The illustrations are hand-painted on high-quality cotton paper using watercolors and colored pencils. 4. The flowers from your bouquet are individually integrated into the artwork. 5. A few months ago, I had the pleasure of creating two Australian Galahs from Y and T’s bridal bouquet – a motif that holds a deeper meaning for the couple. For the feathers of the wings, I had to carefully cut out the shapes of individual blossoms. In addition to watercolors, I also used colored pencils this time – a medium I’ve been turning to more often, since it allows me to capture even the tiniest details more beautifully.
